Large streamer for large grayling.

In August 2011, I had the opportunity to join some friends from Sweden on a float trip on the Finnmarksvidda. This is the most northern area in Norway, close to the city of Alta.

The river seemed to be infested with very large grayling! The guys from Sweden started with some classic nymphs such as pheasant tails and they were immediately catching plenty of grayling in the first pools. However, I was convinced that there had to be larger grayling here. So I choose a large streamer... an imitation of a male stickleback. My first 5 casts gave me 4 grayling that were above the 50 cm mark. I was a happy flyfisher...

My story is very similar to that of Mikko Halonen. His story was translated by Axel Wessolowski and published in Fliegenfischen 5/2011 (page 60-63).

For your information:
- I am not a pro
- I am using a simple Kodak Zx3 camera (HD, Full HD and waterproof). Costs around 110 euro.
- I use Windows MovieMaker (free) to compose movies.

Nice one! :)
I really like your video and it looks quite professional to me! =D>
The choice of the soundtrack is nice and I like that you included some pictures of the landscape as well as the nice subsurface scenes, keep it up! :)
